Hello, and welcome to my art studio! I’m Silvia Pinto, a dedicated instructor and accredited visual artist specializing in the world of crafts. I’m excited to share my journey and experiences with you.

My Creative Beginnings

My path as an instructor began with a deep-seated love for crafting. This affection for all things creative ignited my passion for teaching. Over the years, I’ve passionately cultivated my skills in various craft media, including paper quilling, cardmaking, art journaling, metal embossing, mixed media, resin and molds, and more. These crafts have become an integral part of my life, and I’m eager to pass on this creative torch to others.

Fostering Creative Learning

As an experienced instructor, I’ve come to understand the importance of providing clear and detailed guidance. Crafting should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their skill level. With this in mind, I’ve created a range of video tutorials, each carefully crafted to be user-friendly and comprehensive. Whether you’re a novice exploring a new craft or a seasoned artist looking for fresh inspiration, my goal is to make your creative journey seamless and fulfilling.

A Glimpse into My Background

I am an accomplished Lead Artist, Arts and Crafts Teacher, and Accredited Visual Artist, calling the vibrant city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada my home. My journey in the arts has been marked by a deep-rooted passion for creativity and a relentless dedication to empowering others.

Apart from my work at the art studio, I’ve spent over a decade as a program facilitator, where I’ve honed my skills in guiding individuals of all ages to embrace their creativity and unlock their artistic potential.

My commitment to the community extends beyond the studio. I also serve as a full-time Community Disabilities and Rehabilitation Worker, a role I’ve passionately fulfilled for over 12 years. It’s here that I’ve had the privilege to make a profound and positive impact on people’s lives, showcasing my compassion and unwavering dedication.
